Is GTA 6 Coming To Switch 2? Ask Rockstar, Nintendo Says

Published by GameSpotOctober 9, 2026Credible report

GameSpot reports that Pritchard was asked by Variety whether GTA 6 is headed to Switch 2, but she said there was nothing to announce from Nintendo and framed it as a Rockstar/Take-Two conversation. The current confirmed release remains PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19.

For fans, this keeps Switch 2 hopes in the unconfirmed column. A past third-party report claimed Rockstar had tested feasibility on the hardware, but that was not the same as a planned port, so the only firm signal is still the official platform list.
