[UPDATE] Xbox Denies GTA 6 Streaming Exclusivity Report

IGN updated its report on alleged Xbox cloud-streaming exclusivity for GTA VI after an Xbox executive disputed the central claim. The earlier story suggested Xbox could become the exclusive cloud route to the game at launch, potentially allowing some PC users to access it without a native PC release. The subsequent clarification says GTA VI will not stream exclusively or to PC at launch.

The distinction matters because a cloud-streaming rumor and a confirmed PC release are not interchangeable. Readers should rely on the updated statement rather than the original speculation when planning how to play at launch.
