Leonida is larger than Vice City
Vice City is a prominent location in the fictional state of Leonida, not a synonym for the whole world. Rockstar's official presentation also introduces coastal and inland settings, including the Keys. Promotional images establish the existence of depicted places, not the boundaries of the final playable map.
When looking at fan maps, distinguish a named official location from a fan's inferred road network. Neither building interiors nor precise distances can be confirmed just by comparing screenshots.
Jason's background
Rockstar describes Jason Duval as someone who served in the Army and later lived in the Keys, working around local criminals. His biography establishes circumstances and motivation rather than a fixed series of player choices.
Claims about his complete ending or how every side activity influences him require more than a character profile. Keep these open questions separate from official biography details.
Lucia and the shared story
Lucia Caminos is introduced as an ambitious protagonist whose life has included incarceration. The official material presents Jason and Lucia as closely connected, with an intertwined pursuit of a different future.
A shared narrative foundation does not automatically tell us exactly how romance, switching or story branches will function. Those are better evaluated through direct demonstrations or documented developer statements.
What the promotional map cannot prove
Rockstar's setting descriptions help identify the fictional state's character, but promotional screenshots are intentionally selective. A highway, coastline or background skyline does not reveal all accessible roads, buildings or activities. Fan comparisons with real Florida geography can be interesting without functioning as an official map.
The distinction is especially relevant for online maps assembled from leaks. If a claimed location is based on an unverified screenshot, label the inference and do not turn it into a precise coordinate, a fast-travel promise or a confirmed mission destination.
Read character biographies without spoilers
Jason's military history and Lucia's imprisonment are starting points supplied by Rockstar, not complete accounts of how the narrative resolves. Treat the two biographies as perspectives on why both characters are taking risks and what they hope to gain.
Previews may describe a character-switching system or relationship dynamics, but those reports should be attributed to their interviews and demonstrations. Avoid inferring that an observed option is available during every mission or guarantees a particular ending.
